At long last, the announcement many have been waiting for (well, me at least):

SHADOWHARBOR

Port of Mystery and Madness At The Edge Of The World (In Uptown)

Mayor and Squire: EmperorFenric

(LissaLaine, Joshiek and vip2kea have builds, as do all three founders; the others have plots)

Coordinates For Shadowharbor Town Center: Uptown, X: 1330, Y: 93, Z: 3473 (We have an elytra platform nearby for convenience)

About Our Illustrious Town:

Shadowharbor is a lovingly crafted and fortified port at the edge of the known territories in CV, a freehold of trade and culture in an otherwise barbaric and wild region. Once home to the vicious and legendary Necromancer Lord of Uptown and his armies of fell sorcery-porcine revenants and devilish sheep vermin-the vale and shores of Shadowharbor have been tamed and sculpted into a bastion of beauty and seaside whimsy. And yet a touch of darkness still remains for those curious enough to take a look around...

Features of Shadowharbor:

-Town Center-Including the City Hall, Public Workshop, Post Office, City Museum and Library, Town Pond & Reservoir, Elytra Platform, Central Police Office and The Crimson Shadow Inn & Tavern (and eventually the Town Portal should we be so approved); The Public Works Dept. in City Hall tries to stay stocked with free blocks for town build usage; The City Council Chambers are free to use for all your trial and council session needs.
-Four Residential Neighborhoods: Harbor District (mixed usage of Home and Shops and several taverns); Cherry Groves (The Uphill neighborhood); Waterfield (Between The Pool and The Lakeside Docks) and Underhill (below the Public Farms)
-The Public Farms (Containing Wheat, Carrots, Potatoes, Beets, Berries, Sugar Cane and Cocoa Pods: Livestock Including Chickens, Sheep, Cows, Pigs, Mooshrooms (for soup only), Rabbits; and another pen with our sniffers, Napoleon and Josephine)
-The Outer Courtyard-featuring The Windmill, Lumber Mill and Stables
-The Shops District-Our primary center of trade, also home to the Real Estate and Business Office
-The Entertainment District-Forthcoming; features planned include Archery Range, Slime Pit, Chessboard, Celebration Pavillion, Petting Zoo and More

Attractions:
-The Lighthouse and Power Station-Also containing a Research Center, Home to the Giant Master Brain
-The Cursed Taco Shack (shut down due to ghosts; nonetheless, it still has an odd compelling quality...)
-The Public Beach and The Harbor District (home to small shop stalls, a few select shops, the Harbormaster's Office and planned taverns in addition to home plots overlooking the harbor itself)
-Various Parks-Tenebrian, Honeyfield, Nightshade Parks and other smaller stretches of flowery, peaceful land for picnics and frolicking
-The Public Mines-every player gets a free storage barrel with their name on it by the miner's lounge; free cheap tools are often available in the Mining Depot above
-The Deep Mines-much more dark and dangerous, a vast chasm far below the town
-The Public Beehives (By The Entertainment District)
-Demon's Head Moat-Outside the main gate, behold the unholy visage from which the watery barrier claims its frothing source
-The City Museum and Library-Many weird and wondrous art exhibits lie within as well as The Black Chalice of Forbidden Knowledge without...
-The Hall of Heraldry-Beneath the museum, a stone brick chamber where citizens can place their personal banner and shield for all to see; space is currently limited
-The First Melmic Shrine of Shadowharbor-A chapel of sublime melmic beauty in Waterfield
-The Public Pool
-The Lakeside Docks
-The Shadowharbor Gazeebo-Do not fear, it will not attack you
-Unnamed Statues-There are several statues throughout town that citizens can have named after themselves for only 5 cubes!

Planned Attractions (Forthcoming):
-The Shadowharbor Airfield and Radio Control Tower-Where airships from far-flung Uptown Center come to land
-The Iron Farm-Currently an empty plot home to Bob The Zombie, this will be his future worksite and a great resource to nubs far and wide...
-The Necromancer's Tower XP Farm-The ancient tower of that wicked malefactor, one will be able to come and slay his leftover minions for valuable XP (once the tower is restored)
-Taverns and watering holes such as The Gilded Nautilus, The Cherry Grove Tavern, The Crow's Nest Pirate Inn, The Rusty Trident and The Spectral Cafe
-The Entertainment District (features listed above)
-Villager Trading Hall (Down In The Harbor)
-Ships (If Any Are Willing To Help Build Them)
-Temples On The Uninhabited Peninsulas In The Harbor (one has already been claimed by Aves_Felix)
And anything else we can think of!
-The Blessed Cake and Cookie Shrine-Requested by Lissa so of course it must be built!

Home plots are 30 cubes (a day's worth of quests), premium home plots are 40 cubes (they are slightly larger) Shop plots are 60 cubes (and can have a small apartment above the shop if the owner desires). Builds should be dark, whimsical, gothic, seaside medieval, fantasy, Renaissance, Victorian, etc., to keep close to the town theme. New members should try to emulate builds already in town but should not feel limited to those aesthetics/styles-whimsy above all else! You can build as dark as EmperorFenric's fortress or a cute cherrywood seaside cottage like vip2kea's. Builds should stick to 3 floors (about 25 blocks) high and no more than 2 basement floors deep.

Shadowharbor lies mostly within the walls but the region itself is determined by our buoy boundaries and a border of blocky plinths capped with torches, lanterns and sea lanterns. As such, the region of Shadowharbor itself should be rectangular in shape-though we do have lights slightly outside the borders to help any travelers wary of being chased by bloodthirsty mobs in the pitch black night. As I have no experience with subzoning, any help would be appreciated :)
