Hey, ive been meaning to make one of these for a while.
So basically, To add detail and shading in my drawings I use a technique called layer opacity shading - where I shade by changing the opacity of different layers ontop of each other to modify skin and hair tones. I can turn any skin into a lovely, creative drawing, especially heads. Below will go some pictures of the techniques and real commissioned art when that is done for people.
