Re: Town Hall Meeting :)
Hey everybody!
So yesterday’s town hall meeting went pretty well, and I’d like to thank you all for participating
So having gotten a lot of great feedback from folks who participated, staff nubs lurking in /v (rofl), and my own observations, I’ve decided to revise how we go about next week’s meeting somewhat:
1. The biggest issue I personally noticed was that not everybody got to present their topics before they had to go; therefore, it makes sense to have folks declare their topics during the week leading up to the next meeting, by dming them to me via Discord or forums. Then, I can put all of the topics together into a tidy agenda to help us organize the meetings better.
2. During the meeting, each topic’s period of discussion will be limited to five minutes- once those five minutes are up, we move on to the next topic. (Exceptions for topics that might merit further discussion will be handled case-by-case).
3. Players can submit up to two topics per week; this keeps things fair for everybody, so that no one person dominates the meeting with their list of topics.
Okay, that’s all for now, get submitting those topics! Thank you all so much again for helping us kickstart this experiment in CV civics, the positive reception to it so far has been phenomenal ^_^
