Town Hall Meeting :)
Posted: Wed Aug 19, 2020 10:25 pm
When: Saturday, August 22 @3pm EST
Where: Arcadia Town Hall (Second Floor)
What: In New England (northeast USA), there are "town hall" meetings where citizens gather to discuss local issues and topics- a certain highly persuasive equine on senior staff suggested that if there's going to be a "citizen president" (ty all again for your votes lol) then we should try some kind of similar civic representation, and see what we come up with when we brainstorm together
A few ground rules:
1. All CV rules re: family-friendly chat etc. of course apply
2. Please be respectful of others while chatting/debating/brainstorming
3. Issues that should be handled through staff channels should be dealt with that way first and foremost, NOT brought to the meeting
Other than those ground rules, I'm going to keep the scope of the town hall meeting fairly broad, because hopefully it will be the first of a series and we can help shape something neat together
