We're excited to announce that Cubeville Awards is returning for another year! We've got some exciting new categories lined up this time for yall to nominate and vote on in categories for Citizens, Staff and General.

Nominations
In each award, you will all be able to nominate up to two people to go forward onto the final ballot. Please make your nominations in the comments of this thread or in game/on discord to vip2kea. Once a candidate has gained two nominations on a particular award, they will be entered into the final ballot. Any potential nominees found to be using bribery or otherwise nefarious means to influence nominations will be immediately disqualified. You may NOT nominate or vote for yourself in any category. Scroll to the bottom of this post for a format example on how to nominate.
Another post will be made when we have a final list of successful nominees to vote on, then voting will take place (open to everyone) to decide the award winners. More details on voting will be announced at the time. Details of exact timings are below:

Timings
Nominations open today (Sunday 22nd September) and will stay open until 11:59pm ET Saturday 28th September
The voting process will commence the week after that - more details on the voting process will be announced when we have a list of successful nominees for each award on the 29th.
The main awards ceremony will take place at 4pm ET on Sunday October 13th. (This time is tentative and subject to change if circumstances arise).

Venue
Our venue for the main ceremony event on October 13th will be located on an area of land near Emerald Shores. More details including directions will be listed closer to the event. Here is what the venue will look like:

CATEGORIES
Staff (Only staff can be nominated.)Absolutely Dastardly and Dangerous - You don't want to get caught in this staffer's crosshairs!
Rise and Grind - Always putting in the hours, this staffer is there for you around the clock.
Big Brother - The staffer most likely to be watching you in vanish at all times.
Blood in the Water - The fastest piranha-staffer to take and complete modreqs.
Selfless Staffer - This staffer is always there for you; they are kind, supportive, and always willing to help out.
Citizen (Only citizens including helpers can be nominated.)
People's President - Which citizen would you consider to be the best leader and president for the people?
Selfless Citizen - This citizen is always there for you; they are kind, supportive, and always willing to help out.
Business Tycoon - The citizen with the best business sense, great at making vast quantities of cubes .
Citizen Architect - The citizen with the best builds and eye for design.
Humpty Dumpty - This citizen is a bit clumsy, always prone to accidents. Their name shows up a LOT in death feed.
General (Citizens AND staff can be nominated.)
Grand Architect of Survival - The player who has made the best builds on the Survival Server.
Grand Architect of Creative - The player who has made the best builds on the Creative Server.
Grand Civil Architect - The player who builds and designs the BEST villages, towns, cities and landmarks.
Minigame Champion - This player knocks everyone out first in CV minigames.
Better Together - Which player would you most like to be stranded on a desert island with?

note - you can nominate someone for two awards, just not twice for the same award
