A Guide to General CV Commands


Teleporting Commands


Hub - /hub - Teleport to Hub
Syntax: /hub
Example: /hub
Usage: Hub is the main mode of navigation around Cubeville. There are many portals in Hub that take you to different areas of the server such as games, towns, drops(wild survival drop pads), farms, and much more.


Spawn - /spawn - Teleport to your current worlds Spawn location
Syntax: /spawn
Example: /spawn
Usage: Spawn is the main/central location of any given world. The /spawn command will take you to the spawn area of the world you are currently residing in.


Tutorial - /tut - Teleport to the server tutorial
Syntax: /tut
Example: /tut
Usage: Telport back to the server tutorial to review things if you forget.


SetHome - /sethome - Set a teleport point to your base
Syntax: /sethome
Example: /sethome
Usage: This command sets the teleport point used by the /home command to easily get back to a particular spot on the survival map. This is most often set at your base or home to allow safe and fast travel back to your base.


Home - /home - Teleport to your home
Syntax: /home
Example: /home
Usage: This command teleports you to the point that you set your home at with the /sethome command.



Information Commands


Rules - /rules and /rules 2 - Display a list of common Cubeville Rules
Syntax: /rules <1 or 2>
Example: /rules 1
Usage: These two command show you a list of the majority of the rules on Cubeville. For a more detailed list, please visit https://www.cubeville.org/cv-site/rules.html


FAQ - /faq - Display a list of frequently asked Cubeville questions
Syntax: /faq
Example: /faq
Usage: This commands shows a list of common Cubeville questions that we are asked.


Help - /help - Displays a list of subcommands about different aspects of Cubeville
Syntax: /help <topic>
Topics: commands, chat, group, staff, color, village, town, nether, end, shop, creative, lwc, regions
Example: /help regions
Usage: Help commands show information about different topics and aspects of the server.


Website - /website - Prints a web link to the Cubeville Website into chat
Syntax: /website
Example: /website
Usage: This command puts a clickable link leading to the official Cubeville website into your chat.


Vote - /vote - Prints a web link to a website of vote links
Syntax: /vote
Example: /vote
Usage: This command puts a clickable link leading to a vote page on the official Cubeville website into your chat. Voting on the websites with your IGN gives you in-game currency.


Nether - /nether - Displays the unique rules of the Nether World
Syntax: /nether
Example: /nether
Usage: The Nether has some unique rules that differ slightly from the rest of the server. This command details them for you.


Rift - /rift - Description of what Rift is
Syntax: /rift
Example: /rift
Usage: Rift happens occasionally during a map, and it happens at the end of a map before it resets. Rift information is available using this command.



Currency and Related Commands

Money Commands
Money - /money - Check your current money/cube balance
Syntax: /money
Example: /money
Usage: This command checks your current balance. It check how much in-game money you currently have on the server.


Money Pay - /money pay - Send a specific user a certain amount of cubes
Syntax: /money pay <player> <amount>
Example: /money pay Terror_on_Earth 100
Usage: Pay a specific player a specific amount of money/cubes. The player you are sending in-game money to does not have to be online in order to receive the currency.


Money Rank - /money rank - Check how your in-game wallet ranks against the rest of the server
Syntax: /money rank
Example: /money rank
Usage: This command displays your numerical rank according to the amount of in-game currency you have compared to the rest of the player base.


Money Top - /money top - List the richest players on the server
Syntax: /money top [a number]
Example: /money top 10
Usage: Lists the richest players on the server. If you don't put a number after "top", it defaults to listing the top 5 richest players.

Spleef Donate - /spleef donate - Donate to the Spleef wallet
Syntax: /spleef donate <amount>
Example: /spleef donate 10
Usage: Donate money to the Spleef pot, which is the large pot of in-game currency that staff members use to award players for winning hosted games of Spleef.


Spleef Pot - /spleefpot - Check the balance of the Spleef wallet
Syntax: /spleefpot
Example: /spleefpot
Usage: Check the current balance of the Spleef pot.


InstaDay and InstaNight - /instaday and /instanight - Change the survival map time to daytime or nighttime.
Syntax: /instaday and /instanight
Example: /instaday
Usage: Pay 25c to change the Minecraft server time on the survival map to daytime or nighttime. Can only use one of these commands once every 24 hours.


InstaSun and InstaStorm - /instasun and /instastorm - Change the survival map weather to sunny or stormy
Syntax: /instasun and /instastorm
Example: /instastorm
Usage: Pay 50c to change the Minecraft server weather on the survival map to sunny or stormy. Can only use one of these commands once every 24 hours.



Location and Other Random Commands


Maplink - /maplink - Print a web link of your current location into chat
Syntax: /maplink
Example: /maplink
Usage: This command puts a clickable link of your current location on a map overviewer into your chat.


Where - /where - Prints your location and coordinates into chat
Syntax: /where
Example: /where
Usage: This command puts your current World, coordinates, and direction you are facing in your chat.


Time - /time - Prints the current Minecraft time into chat
Syntax: /time
Example: /time
Usage: This command puts the time of the Minecraft world you are currently located at into your chat.


Who - /who - Prints a list of all online players into chat
Syntax: /who
Example: /who
Usage: This command puts a list of all currently online players into your chat.


Ping - /ping - Check your connection to the server
Syntax: /ping
Example: /ping
Usage: This command pings the server, which is a good way of checking if your connection is lagging out or not.


Kill - /kill - Kills your Minecraft character
Syntax: /kill
Example: /kill
Usage: This command instantly kills your Minecraft character. Useful if you are stuck in a PvP arena. Would not recommend using it in the overworld.


Modlist - /modlist - Prints a list of all online staff into chat
Syntax: /modlist
Example: /modlist
Usage: This command put a list of all currently online staff members into your chat.


Modreq - /modreq - Request staff assistance
Syntax: /modreq <message>
Example: /modreq Someone just killed my pet dog!!
Usage: Issues with another player? Someone grief or steal from you? The modreq system was made specifically for requesting staff's assistance for important things that you need help with.
