this is the CV writing club. each week ill post the new topic. when you are done writing your story you can post it and people can critique it. here are a few rules and info.

1. dont harrase people about what they put in their paper or how they interpreted the topic.
2. LGBTQ+ is allowed.
3. no cussing or slurs in papers and no other inappropriate terms.
4. im participating.
5. anyone can join. if you wanna join just say im joining or just post your paper.
6. dont post a paper on a topic after another topic has been released.
7. this will probly end when school stuff starts up again since people will have more important papers then.
8. new topics will be released every Sunday.
9. this is just for fun so have fun and enjoy yourself
10. there are no rules on paper length

I'll throw my hat in the ring.

Spoilering it so that it won't take up so much space on the page. Wrote this a while ago, but haven't posted it on the forum yet.

The warm summer breeze wafted over the open field as the Angel and a girl about her age lay together, looking up at the clouds. The Angel looked lovingly at the girl, watching how the breeze blew her honey brown hair and how the sunlight made her shine even more radiantly than normal.

"Hey," the girl said. "Can I ask you something?"

"You can ask me anything, Kira," the Angel replied, smiling.

"What can I call you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I want to call you by a name other than 'Angel 19690412'" she giggled, saying the last part in a jokingly robotic manner.

"Ah, I'll think on it." The Angel smiled. No one had asked her that before.

"Ok," Kira smiled and scooted closer to the Angel, who began to gently stroke her hair. "When will this war be over?"

"I don't know," the Angel smiled gently. "I hope soon though."

They lay there for a bit, taking in the scene around them. Kira snuggled up to the Angel's side, the Angel gently stroking her hair. Eventually, the sun began to set.

"Oh, sunset." The angel said. "I better get back to my post for the shift change."

"Ok," Kira replied, getting up and stretching.

The Angel got up and walked over to her boots, looked down into them and smiled.

"Hey, Kira?"

"Yeah?"

"Call me Europa."

"Europa... I like that." Kira smiled and walked over, linking her arm in Europas. "Shall we go?"

"Yes," Europa smiled as she latched her boots. "Let's."
