New Game - Boat Racing!Boat Racing has come to Cubeville!
What started as a project planned as a landmark for the survival server quickly became more as I found myself spending night after night trying to beat my best time on my first track, rainbow road. As the timing mechanism was updated from the stopwatch on my phone to a command block clock, I found myself realizing that I had an incredibly entertaining game on my hands. Today, I finally get to share this game with Cubeville. I hope you will enjoy this game as much as I have!

How to Play Boat RacingI know it’s been a request to have a single player non-hosted game on Cubeville, so I decided to make the format of this game time trials. The goal of the game is to race through the track in the fastest time possible and beat your previous times!
➳ Head to the Games section of skylands and go through the boat racing portal.
➳ You will see four sections, classifying the difficulty of the tracks located in that section.
- Tracks in the other section are used to practice specific types of turns or explore strange mechanics that exist in boat racing.
- If the track is open, you will start a race!
- If the track is in use, you will be added to the queue. Once it is your turn, you will automatically start a race on that track.
➳ Miss a turn? If you exit the boat, you are automatically teleported back to the boat racing lobby.
➳ Once completed, if you have a personal best time then a message will be sent to the world with your accomplishment!

Boat Racing and Summer GamesAs a last chance for players to get summer games coins, we are going to be opening a limited-time event for summer games!
The top times achieved on a summer games marked track before 11:59pm EST Sunday 12th September 2021 will receive summer games coins.
Top 20: 5 game coins
Top 10: 10 game coins
Top 3: 15 game coins, plus a commemorative trophy to celebrate your victory

Boat Racing CommandsNOTE: Permissions to these commands will not be live until after reboot on Monday 6th September.
/boatrace leaderboard <track_id> [page_number] - View the leaderboard on a track.
/boatrace pb <track_id> [player_name] - View the personal best time for yourself or another player on a track.
/boatrace rank <track_id> [player_name] - View the rank of yourself or another player on a track.
/boatrace splits compare <track_id> <player_name> [player_name] - Compare the splits on a track between yourself or another player, or between two players.
/boatrace splits use [player_name] - Compare your current time in a race to the specified player's personal best time. Enter no player name to reset the splits back to your personal best time.
/boatrace splits use wr - Use the splits of the world record holder on every track.
/boatrace help - View all boat racing commands.
