Build Battle: 'Spacecraft'
What, where, and when is the build battle?
Each participating player or team will be given a 101x101 block plot on which to build their entry on the Creative Server. The build battle takes place on a separate world, so you do not need to use your normal creative plot. You can build anything you like, so long as the build is based on the prompt set in this post, (see below). This build battle runs for 6 weeks and will be open Saturday 18th May 2024 through Sunday 30th June 2024.
How do I enter?
To get to the build battle, head to the creative server via /hub and enter the Build Battle portal. Once you are there, use the /home command to create a plot. Like the normal creative world, you will be able to use /home to get to your plot as well. You have until the end of Sunday 30th June 2024 to build your entry. You can take as long as you like on the building within that time frame and change it as much as you want up until the close of the contest. Nothing will be judged until after the contest has been closed, and the voting begins.
If you want to enter as a team, please /modreq with the name of the player(s) you want to join your team. Note that you must have their permission before requesting they join your team, you may be disqualified if you attempt to add players to your team without their consent. The team size is set at a maximum of four players.
Once you have a plot you are automatically entered into the Build Battle, if you decide you want to exit the competition simply /modreq asking for your plot and entry to be removed.
What is the build battle theme?
Your build must be based on the following theme:

Rules for entries
✩ Maximum of four players per plot
✩ Only one entry per person, you may not join multiple teams using alt accounts
✩ Builds must be original, any found to be copied from other sources will be disqualified
✩ Please contain all liquids within your plot, they should not be running outside the plot border
✩ Do not build any persistent redstone devices (i.e. they run non stop) or redstone devices that have an impact outside your plot
✩ Build Battle plots are for build battle entries only, it is not a secondary creative plot for free use
✩ CV’s Official building rules apply
✩ Only items that are supplied or are available in normal creative mode can be used in builds. Anything brought in from SP using saved toolbars being used in builds will result in disqualification. You may also use decorative heads from the Heads Database
How are entries judged?
There will be an open vote for all players to pick their top three entries, which will run for one week after the closing date. More details of how and where to vote will be made available when it comes time to vote.
What can I win?
The prizes are as follows:
✩ 1st Place - 1500c
✩ 2nd Place - 1000c
✩ 3rd Place - 500c
Note that all members of any winning team will receive the same prize, it will not be divided up. Please also note that all completed builds, whether they place or not, may be used in a future expansion of the CV hub area, similar to the way builds were added after the Summer 2021 build battle. If you do not want your build to be used in a future hub date, please indicate as such with a sign on one of the corners of your entry plot.
