Am still having problems with the Weaponsmith quest.
Its asking to do poison tipped arrows..
I know this is a weapon thing but truthfully its so much more than just that.
How to make these requested tipped arrows!!!
This is not for me, but for others that don't go to the nether or end.
1. Go to nether and get 2 blaze rods... so you hate the nether.
2. Find and kill 4 ghasts. Great, now you have to spend more time in a place you hate.
3. Go to the end and get 4 end pearls. Did I tell you I hate the end too.
4. Make 4 end crystals... now that was easy to do.
5. Call in the dragon and collect his breath without dying. Oh great I hate the dragon too.
OR
Go to a shop and buy either blaze rods, ender pearls and ghast tears
or buy 4 end crystals
or buy dragons breath.
The thing here is the time spent in getting all this or the money spent just to get the cubes.
I am not saying that its unfair. Its just unfair for it to be in the Weaponsmith quest.

It should be in a brewing quest. Like say...
Brew a poison potion, brew a lingering potion, make a 8 tipped arrows.

I agree Tis, I had that Quest too, but I quit it as soon as I saw it lol

So I’ve been doing daily quests a bit, but when I chose potion brewer, I haven’t even brewed a potion. A majority of the quests are off-topic, such as:
harvest 1 brown mushroom
get 1 gunpowder
and much more of that. I’d love to see if the potion brewing quest can include things like “brew 2 awkward potions” or “craft 6 blaze powder” and much more.

The quests have gotten a lot better -- haven't had to do anything requiring me to hit the nether. But I have been taking quests I'm pretty sure what I'm in for and avoiding the miner one unless I've got an hour to kill.

Denise roselake has a quest grinder. As long as you have a silk touch pic, you can mine all the ore you need.

Got a quest today to make chiseld stone bricks and I made them with a stone cutter which did not count :/

Would be good if it could count stone cutter

Another gotcha that I think Granny got tricked by -- if your quest is to cook some food, it does not count if you put them on a camp fire.

Maybe the warning text about not shift clicking (which, btw, seems to work fine now -- I do that all the time!), should be extended to also say something like "All actions that can be made in a furnace or on a crafting table needs to be done on those, and not other methods".
