Citizen’s Union Presidential Election (February 2022):
⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Citizen’s Union presidential election for February 2022 is starting, and I have been appointed as the Election Officer to run it. Thanks go to WeatherCats, the last Election Officer, for creating a great post layout I have completely stolen! Here’s some basic info on how this will work.
Today, 14th February 2022, I am be opening up the voting phase of the election. Any citizen can vote for their preferred candidate by messaging me (WallyDonkey) on discord, the forums, or in game with their vote. A citizen may not vote for themselves or use any nefarious means to gain votes. The voting phase will end on 21st February.
On 22nd February, the results will be revealed. The citizen with the most votes will be chosen. After a handover period of a week the elected president will officially take over as president of the Citizen’s Union. The incoming president will then choose a vice president to take over running meetings if they are absent, and to replace them if they quit before their term is up.
Please don't annoy others with your campaigns, please try not to spam your campaign in the various CV chats. Talking about a couple times is okay, talking about it constantly isn't.
