Cubeville Art Slam
The Cubeville community is home to a great many creative players, and we're excited to celebrate your many talents in our new Cubeville Art Slam event! This series of competitions will try your artistic abilities in a variety of fields, however it is not a tournament. You may participate in however many of the contests you would like, whether that's one or two, or every single one.
The Competitions
The Cubeville Art Slam will run from Sunday 13th September 2020 through 11:59pm Friday 23rd October 2020, EST. Each competition will have a set theme, so make sure to wait for the opening announcement before you begin your entry.
✩ Build Battle - Sunday 13th September 2020 through 11:59pm Saturday October 17th 2020
The Build Battle runs throughout the entire event.
✩ Writing Competition - Sunday 13th September 2020 through 11:59pm Saturday 26th September 2020
✩ Drawing Competition - Sunday 20th September 2020 through 11:59pm Saturday 3rd October 2020
✩ Skinmaking Competition - Sunday 27th September 2020 through 11:59pm Saturday 10th October 2020
✩ Screenshots Competition - Sunday 27th September 2020 through 11:59pm Saturday 10th October 2020

✩ Video Competition - Sunday 4th October 2020 through 11:59pm Saturday 17th October 2020
Participation
The competitions will be announced with their respective theme on their open date. The individual posts will explain how they may be entered, the rules for each contest, and the prizes at stake! Every competition will be judged separately via an open vote for all players to pick their top three entries. Voting will be open for one week following the closure of each event.
Prizes
The prizes all include a choice between cubes and various miniranks. Not every competition has the same prizes available, but they're all pretty juicy. Check out the prize list in each competition post to see what the potential rewards are for that contest.
Rules
The rules vary between contests depending on the particular competition, but overall the entries you make should be completely your own, original work. Participants are allowed one entry per competition. Your entry must be in the theme of the competition prompt, which will be provided for each contest. Other details many vary per contest.
