Dig To Void In Creative (Possibly Quick to Fix)

I would like to test/build void bases in the creative world but that is unfortunately impossible due to the underground build limit. I talked to Lissa about the limit and she told me that she couldn't do anything about it. She never told me why it was there and I cannot reason as to why the limit is there. If a staff member could tell me why the limit is there or take the limit away entirely that would be great, thanks!
