Maybe an official boating lake?

An official boating lake would be fun for civilians and mods (or admins), and it would spare people the trouble of finding a lake for boating fun.
Alpha and I found a lake near our house and made a dock there, turning it into a boating lake, but why should everyone have to go through the trouble just to have a little fun? The answer is, they shouldn't.
An official boating lake could also be used for fishing and ice-skating with Frost Walker boots, and it would probably be much better than a thrown-together dock on a small lake.
I really hope you'll consider this and not mind me preaching at you.

I mean, its not a lake, but there is a pretty big pool just outside the CVC walls

I think that's a fun idea, like the ice skating rink we have on winter island occasionally. But it's the type of thing we'd want to implement before a map opens, so I don't think it's very likely to happen.
If you want easy access to a lot of water to have fun boating around on, Sea Haven is a big cruise ship in the middle of the ocean, you can get there by going to /hub > special > Sea Haven.
