The wand/world edit in Minecraft creative is great for a builder like me. Those who know how to use it would save them a lot of time building a huge wall, or clearing one of their last builds. It’s an easy and fun tool to use!
Those who don’t know what world edit is it’s complicated to explain but I’ll try my best. World edit helps you building as in giving you a wand that allows you to select a religion by right clicking and left clicking with the wand. Then you can do whatever you want in that religion. Such as filling it with air clearing the space, or making a nice big wall instead of having to place it block by block

I think it would be nice but someone probly copy and paste a thing from their area to another users plot. Also if there was a private build battle and one person lost they could lava or destroy someone else's build if they lose. In my opinion it would be a wonderful building thing to help you but it would also most likely cause to many problems so in the end I would not want.

I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but World Edit (WE) Is a very bad idea for giving it to C's >.>

You can already do some of that stuff with SchematicaREDRATH wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 1:13 pm I think it would be nice but someone probly copy and paste a thing from their area to another users plot. While I think almost everyone can agree that WorldEdit would be very nice to have, I'm sure you can see the problems it can cause also and why it is reserved almost exclusively for SAs.
Firstly, large edits can cause lots of lag that can possibly crash the server. It's happened before, and that's with only SAs using it.
Next, I'm almost positive that the region plug-in that CV runs does not prevent players from using WorldEdit in each other's claims. Players would be able to edit other's plots and very easily destroy everything. And even if everyone was responsible with it, it's not hard to slip up and accidentally do something you didn't mean to.
Yes, WorldEdit is amazing and would be extremely helpful for building almost anything. However, is just not possible to regulate on a large scale and would cause countless problems that would have Fredi running around all day chasing logs
That being said, I would suggest schematica as an alternative for WorldEdit. Schematica let's you take a selection of something already built in any Minecraft world and print it into cubeville or anywhere else. It works especially well in creative and although it isn't as convenient as WorldEdit, it eliminates the possible problems that come with that.

I am with Eureka here. WE in the wrong/inexperienced hands can be bad.
How do I know this. Well because I have it for the quest builds. I also don't know it well. When I do use it, I make sure that my usage is small and if I don't see the change I wanted, I undo it just in case it did do something. Most of the time I like to use schematics or hand build things. Even in quest world.

Indeed, even experienced staff manage to crash worlds from time to time with overenthusiastic use of worldedit
We are exploring options going forwards but for now you are able to /modreq and request large scale world edit changes to your plot (please don't modreq for things that take a few minutes by hand though, nobody wants to log in to 20 modreqs for minor world edits on plots). We will update you guys if anything changes on this going forwards.
