CU Meeting Suggestions Sep 12, 2020 (Global Chat World Indicator)

Here are the wishlist suggestions from the September 12, 2020 Citizen’s Union meeting.

Global Chat World Indicator:
It was suggested that there should be an indicator for what world a player is in somewhere in the global chat message. The main reason was so that doctor ranks could know who to heal before trying to do so, however there would be other uses.

It was pointed out that global chat is already very cluttered, and adding more to it would make it even more cluttered. It was also pointed out you could just ask the player what world they are in, although another point was that they may not be able to answer in cases like PvP.

It seemed multiple players thought that if this were implemented, there should be a toggle (the toggle I believe they spoke of was one where you wouldn’t see any other player’s indicator, although it is my belief that there should also be one for whether or not to show the indicator from your chat messages).

It is also of my opinion that a neutral colored emoji (yes, you can use certain emoji in Minecraft) could be used as said indicator, probably before the global chat message.
