Dying is the cycle of life. If you die in minecraft, you can just start over. If you die from mining upward and have gravel fall on you, then you learn a lesson, " Don't mine straight up." If there was a player on CV, who never died once on the whole map, they would probably get bored soon because they had everything, which means that they wouldn't have anything difficult or challenging to do, because they were so OP that everything was easy. In minecraft, death is not the end of the world, it's not even the end of your life, since CV doesn't use hardcore. Dying is an opportunity to start over, and maybe do it even better. Plus, if there were better death messages, players would be more likely to notice it, and they might even be willing to help you get your stuff back.

So I say that funny death messages are not insulting, they make your death more noticed, and maybe even make some players willing to help you. I would love this idea in CV!

yeah ok fine... i can do /hub
but that doesnt mean that ill like it!
And i hope there is no message that takes it too far, like “<player> is an absolute dummy for dying in lava.” (probably wont happen tho)

changed my mind i like deathsole and here are some originals for myself to prrove that i like it and want it in cv:
“Uh-Oh... <player> tried to fight fire with fire.” (death by lava/fire)
“I think <player> had forgot to use a shield when fighting creepers” (death by explosion)
“Nubby <player> has made a tnt elytra launcher without the water and obsidian.” (death by explosion)
“<player> tried to be in the monster group without knowing that monsters kill players.” (death by monster”)

You’ve got to respect other player’s deaths. I had one time when I fell into lava in the nether and lost all of my op stuff... good thing there was no deathsole for me to look dumb.

Well, sometimes people have to lighten up.

Also, it would be great if we had those but gender-neutral.

I think this is a great idea! I have some of my own to;

Player based:
<Name> Felt the wrath of <Insert thing> while trying to escape the mighty <Name2>
Oh <Name>, try to be less violent towards <Name2>, Ok?
