Id appreciate it if it could always be day in the farms! I have NO idea what im doing when its night in the tree farms ;-;

I totally agree with this idea/wish. Would make farming a 'sight' easier.

We can re-discuss this, but the purpose of the Farmlands is to supply resources without having the map exhausted. The purpose is not to make it easier than it would otherwise be on the survival world to gather them. The absence of mobs in the Farmlands already makes it significantly easier to gather resources, so personally I am not sure that it needs to be permanently day on top of that. If there are particular farms or areas it is felt could really use a little more lighting, though, we could certainly look at that.

dark oak. you can't see anything. you have to just to randomly swing your axe and hope you get some wood.

Also probably end up leaving half of what you chopped down in the forrest. Given there are no mobs, the dark is just annoyance.

An alternative would be to allow placing blocks, eg torches. (scaffold would be nice for the big ones too)

You can always use a shader / texturepack that makes that everything that illuminates, illuminates in your hands and in the floor, that's what I use now x3 I dont need to randomly swing my axe MC xD

Unfortunately, the way the farmlands works does not allow for just any block to be broken, so allowing other blocks to be placed will likely lead to more heartache than it's worth when people realize they are unable to get their materials / shulkers, etc. back. I would rather simply add more lighting where necessary :)
