Cubeville Art Slam


How surprised are you?! The Cubeville Art Slam is back in action and ready to go for the summer bringing the ever-so loved competitions back to our community.
The Cubeville Art Slam is a competition spanning across different art mediums with given idea prompts to get your creativity going. You may participate in any event of your choosing; whether that be one event or multiple.

Start your brainstorming, because the general theme this year around is:
VACATION

The Competitions

The Cubeville Art Slam will run from July 3rd, 2023 to August 25th, 2023 @ 11:59PM EST. Each competition will have a set theme, so wait patiently for every competition announcement for your prompts!

Writing Competition - Monday, July 3rd 2023 to Friday, July 14th 2023 @ 11:59PM EST.
Drawing Competition - Monday, July 17th 2023 to Friday, July 28th 2023 @ 11:59PM EST.
Skin Making Competition + Screenshots Competition - Monday, August 1st 2023 to Friday, August 11th 2023 @ 11:59PM EST.
*NOTE: Skin Making and Screenshots run together.
Video Competition - Monday, August 14th 2023 to Friday, August 25th 2023 @ 11:59PM EST.

Participation

The competitions will be announced with their respective theme on their open date. The individual posts will explain how to enter, the rules for each contest, and prizes to be won! Every competition will be judged separately via an open vote for all players to pick their top three entries. Voting will be open for one week after submissions close.

Prizes

The prizes for each competition will be as follows:

1st Place - 30 Summer Games Coin and a Decorative Trophy Head
2nd Place - 20 Summer Games Coin and a Decorative Trophy Head
3rd Place - 10 Summer Games Coin and a Decorative Trophy Head

All Participants With a Complete, Timely Submission - 5 Summer Games Coin

Rules

The rules vary between contests depending on the particular competition, but overall the entries you make should be completely your own, original work. Participants are allowed one entry per competition. Your entry must be in the theme of the competition prompt, which will be provided for each contest. Other details vary per contest.

AI art, such as ChatGPT, digital art replication AI... etc. is NOT permitted, your entries should be your own original creation. Entries that use AI will be treated as plagiarism and will be disqualified.
