Fundamentally, having a /trade command would be the best course of action, fixing multiple of the issues stated above in one swoop. Of course, that would involve installing or making a new plugin, which I don’t know if the higher-ups want to do.
(For anyone who doesn’t know what a /trade command would do, essentially it would open up a menu where you put in your items you wish to trade and the other person puts in their items they wish to trade then you both accept the trade)

I mean a trade command seems unnecessary and also doesn't solve bah's problem of said items to trade still being inside a shulker box
The easiest client-side solution to this would be to just to get one of those see-inside-the-shulker mods
temporary signature until i get a proper one. for now, let the coconut touch your left arm, and feel it in your aorta as the world acknowledges that the african tulip is not responsible for the fall of the roman empire. also dried cranberries taste good.

A lag free area with secure rooms and shulker spots that can easily be accessed with /trade (so as convenient as the hub) could be a solution to this. I think this would be much easier to implement too compared to a trading script.

We indeed discussed making a trade spaceship at hub for this purpose, similar to the trade place in CVC but lag free, it's probably gonna come at some point once we got some higher priority tasks out of the way.
