Spleef Arena Application Process

When you feel your spleef arena is ready for review, you should make an application in this forum. Please provide the coordinates of your spleef arena, the names of the builders, and any other information you feel relevant to the application.

Two Admin+ will review your application within two weeks and either approve it or let you know what you need to work on. Once you've added or changed what you were asked to work on, you may post again in the same application thread to have your arena re-checked. You do not need to wait between arena applications, you may reapply as soon as you've finished your work, and you can reapply as many times as you need.

Arena Criteria

Arena Structure
☑ Arena is fully enclosed (walls and roof where applicable).
☑ Arena includes clear entry and exit points for players and spectators.
☑ There is a designated hosting area that is not accessible to players.

Game Operation
☑ Spleef rules are clearly posted within or near the arena.
☑ The spleef arena floors combined cover a minimum of 20 x 20 blocks.
☑ If there are multiple levels, it should be possible to break blocks on the floor above.
☑ Players who have been spleefed should fall into a safe area, with an easy-to-find exit.
☑ If applicable, redstone systems are optimised and functional without causing performance issues.
☑ Arena includes a spectator mode area where spectators can view, but not interfere with, the game.

Safety and Surrounding Environment
☑ Arena and surrounding areas are well-lit to prevent mob spawning.
☑ Hazards in the surrounding area are made safe, or clearly signposted to players.
☑ Paths, walkways, and roads are clear of obstruction and easy to navigate.

Aesthetic and Uniqueness
☑ Arena has a unique design that sets it apart from other spleef arenas on the server.
☑ Arena’s theme and structure are cohesive and visually appealing.
☑ The arena and surrounding area are tidy and building supplies, storage chests etc. are not left lying around.

Arena Perks

If your arena is approved, you will gain access to the following perks:

➠ A region covering the entire arena
➠ A free portal from Landmarks Hub to your arena
➠ Command blocks to assist with hosting; specifically to control door opening/closing and block break allow/deny.
➠ Five free command blocks to set floor layers with a block type, and the ability to purchase up to five more for 150c each.
