Technically still possible to get cubes with alts, you just would have to log them in and do the daily quests. It is of course a lot more effort than the purely voting method. Given how many people make use of alts to additional cubes, let's not pick out any individuals.

I did the daily quest today and it was a lot of fun. I can see this really evening out the playing field since you have to LITERALLY play to get paid.

And yes, I've got an alt (just the one) so I did two quests. One was pretty easy and just had me chopping wood, but the other took me to the far end of the map looking for a hard to find item. I can't imagine do THAT 9 times a day.

I did the daily quest with both my main and my alt today. If players with alts are willing to put in the effort to do the quests then there is no reason they can’t earn the cubes.
