I think staff have said no to teleporting quite a few times - it would take away the vanilla-ish minecraft experience

maybe they could only add teleporting in creative? it would be useful especially since username changes doesnt change plot names and so you can show someone else a build!

Though the plot names don't change, you can still do /home (whatever their current username is) and end up at their plot in cw

I meant like so you can show people specific builds, even other peoples easily but i understand that you could just find the plot name and tell the person to warp to that one.
